"Lastovicka's score for Crossing the Horizon is easily evocative, but not derivative, of a Hollywood movie score, featuring a cyclical string motif that both thrills and entrances." --Houston Chronicle

On the most literal level, CROSSING THE HORIZON is about UFO abduction. At the same time, the piece enacts a journey of archetypal significance. The characters must face the presence of a powerful and unexplainable force in order to become whole.
